Senior Refrigeration Engineer – Kent
We are currently looking for an experienced refrigeration engineer to join our fast-growing team – Reporting to the Regional Manager, this role will involve providing first response to our clients. This is a field-based role where you will be called on to provide solutions to refrigeration breakdowns, PPM and commissioning – This role will be covering Crawley, Turnbridge Wells, Dartford and surrounding regions

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with company and clients’ expectations
• Participation on standby rota usually 1 in 4 within your region
• Identify training requirements for further development
• Attend problem sites and ensure any problems/faults are rectified
• Carry out 2-man jobs if required
• Ensure working safely on all tasks
• Ensure that you are up to date with all client’s equipment
• Proactively manage your workload to achieve best in class results

Qualifications & Experience

• Advanced knowledge of skills and experience required in refrigeration
• Experienced in CO2 and supermarket refrigeration
• F-Gas qualification
• CSCS Card
• Experience of hydrocarbon handling
• Full UK driving licence
• A mature approach to Health and Safety requirements.
• Flexible to work outside normal business hours as needed.
• Solutions-focused with excellent problem-solving, analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Demonstrable commercial acumen and focused to achieve results
• Excellent planning and organisational skills

Remuneration

• Salary – £46,800.00 (£22.50 per hour) – Need to just double check this is the same salary for this role
• Overtime 1x 1.5 for all hours after Normal time
• Standby £125 per week
• 30 days holidays rising to 32 for 5 years’ service and 35 for 10 yeas
• Company van – Fitted out with relevant equipment and tools
• IPad for Job sheets / time sheets etc
