Electrical Estimator – EV

We are currently working with a global leading EV charge point manufacturer who are seeking an Electrical Estimator due to large expansion within their construction department. 

Duties and Responsibilities 

• Responsibility for preparing accurate cost estimates for large scale commercial EV Charging Projects
• Analyse project requirements, develop cost models, assess risks, and support bid submissions
• Develop and maintain standard cost databases, rate libraries, and benchmarking tools for future estimates.
• Conduct site visits and assessments to validate assumptions and gather data for pricing.
• Own and improve the accuracy and efficiency of the estimating process through data-driven insights and automation where possible.

Essential Experience

• Strong Commercial acumen and attention to detail.
• Proven experience as an estimator in construction, civil engineering, electrical contracting, or EV Infrastructure.
• Demonstrate ability to interpret scope ensuring estimating compliance to any respective bid.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project scopes.
• Excellent problem solving skills

Desirable Experience

• Experience using and developing specific estimating software
• Knowledge of JCT contract frameworks.
• RICS surveying qualifications
