One of the UK’s largest refrigeration & air conditioning service providers are currently on the lookout for an experienced Installation engineer. The ideal candidate for this role will be able to install AC&R systems efficiently and effectively to a high standard. A proactive and forward-thinking approach is required 

Location – Ideally, South-Wales, able to cover Bristol and the South-West

Key Responsibilities

• Become proficient in using the companies’ and customer systems.
• To complete HVAC&R installations to company high standards at all times.
• To provide effective and efficient supervision on allocated projects.
• Closely and effectively liaise with project managers, administrators, site management, contractors and customers to ensure installations go top plan and feedback information.
• To complete all tasks associated with an installation i.e. Labelling, waste removal, and use of customer systems.
• Supervise labour (company, sub-contractor and other), identify, resolve and report issues to the project manager.
• To ensure compliance / adherence with company policies and procedures, in particular those matters of health & safety, environment and quality.
• To report on overall project progress as required.
• To complete and return all relevant documentation paperwork or electronic in a timely and accurate manner

Essential Experience/Background Required

• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good time management and prioritisation skills.
• Ability to be flexible to meet changing demands.
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to communicate internally with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills in all forms including written, verbal, e-mail, telephone
• Commercial awareness.
• Self-motivated but able to work as part of a team.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety and Environmental issues.
• Relevant Refrigeration certification i.e. city & guilds in AC&R
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• A positive attitude. • Able to follow company processes and procedures.
• IT skills, Microsoft, and handheld mobile devises.
• Full UK driving Licence
