Epos Engineer – Birmingham
We are looking for an EPOS engineer in the West Midlands for a global leading service provider. The role will be working within the regional team of engineers to support their wide customer base.
Key Responsibilities;
- Provide on-site maintenance service for EPOS equipment including Peripherals ensuring adherence to contract commitments.
- Maintain prompt/effective communication with call control and adhere to call allocations.
- Ensure faulty/unused/unrepairable stocks are returned direct to the stores/workshop within 24 hours, providing all necessary documentation.
- Provide software installations and configurations at customer sites
- Always ensure customer satisfaction by complying with and understanding all on-site and local escalation procedures.
- Provide on-site preventative maintenance services in accordance with customer schedules and within agreed time frames.
- Ensure adequate stock levels are maintained within van stock to provide maximum efficiency.
- Ensure efficient stock ordering to fault activity requirements.
Essential Experience
- Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer within the EPOS/IT sector
- Experienced with installation, service and fault finding on point of sale equipment
- Flexible on travel across the advertised region with full UK driving license
- Excellent communication and time management skills

- Currently working as an EPOS engineer
- Previous experience with installation projects
