Trainee Refrigeration Engineer  

We are seeking a trainee Refrigeration Engineer for a large well-established service provider. The role will be working in and around Newcastle working on mainly commercial refrigeration equipment within the public sector, hospitality and events sectors; this role is for someone looking for their first role in this industry, where they will receive the right training to gain the required skills to develop into a fully fledged engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Service and Maintenance of Commercial Refrigeration Equipment
• Working in a team of engineers through the region
• Providing the best possible standard of customer service to our customers
• Offering support for other engineers and acting as a point of escalation for the team.

Essential Skills

• Gained or in process of gaining Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Qualifications – F-GAS, Level 2 or equivalent
• Worked in a demanding environment, demonstrating the skill to take in and carry out instructions 
• Full UK driving licence
• Excellent Work Ethic

Desirable

• Exceptional communication skills, as this will be a customer-facing role
• Electrical qualifications and experience
